CHARON is a customizable, single-chip IC platform developed by Presto Engineering for DSRC On-Board Units (OBUs) in cars and trucks.

It supports applications such as electronic toll collection and compliance checks (tachograph, weight, dimensions), fully compliant with European DSRC standards (CEN and UNI).
