PrestoPE (for "product engineering") are flexible projects accelerating new product qualification, validation and release to production. They are the core Presto Engineering's Design Success Analysis™. They provide for a hollistic approach to supporting PE projects with specific capabilities and expertise rarely found internally.

Once registered, a new design will be qualified by a product engineering team. We provide the capabilities that are not available internally, and allow for state-of-the art validation, reliability, stress, characterization and analysis. We deliver data, results, analysis and reports that complement what is been performed internally.

PrestoPE are typically ran through the following phases:

1. Registration (initial test solution, database preparation, packaging)
2. Validation (verifying basic functionality - typically on bling lots)
3. Characterization (testing specification margings - typically on corner lots)
4. Qualification (reliability cycles)
5. Release (production test solution)

At the end of each phase, a bin list of issues is documented and reviewed with our customer; issues are graded, and some are assigned to Presto Engineering for solution. We then run fixed-cost projects, targetted at resolution, applying our internal physical fault isolation, electrical failure isolation, and root cause analysis capabilities. We guarantee results, and we are only rewarded on success.
